Colleagues, Following the Governor's executive order Executive Order 30 <https://www.governor.virginia.gov/media/governorvirginiagov/governor-of-vir…> on AI, SCHEV has come up with corresponding AI Education Guidelines <https://www.education.virginia.gov/media/governorvirginiagov/secretary-of-e…>. This is a very high level document at this point whose goal is to build a framework that can be developed further. I am part of a state-wide taskforce asked to suggest additions/subtractions/modifications to this document. Would appreciate any and all input, especially from folks working in generative AI, HCI, CSEd on clarifications; potential modifications; areas of emphasis; and how to address the guidelines.
