According to Robert, we have a lot of proposal submissions for the CS department coming up in the next 30-45 days and Robert need to get a sense of the total number to address the situation to ensure the CS department has the adequate coverage/support for these upcoming submissions. Invitation to 2nd CNH-VT Symposium on AI for Pediatric Health

Colleagues, We are pleased to invite you for the 2nd Children's National Hospital-VT Symposium on AI for Pediatric Health slated for Sep 6 at CNH's DC campus. The program includes keynote and invited talks, FDA perspectives on “Improving the Representation of Pediatric and Perinatal Patients in AI-powered Medical Devices”, a panel on “Deployment of AI in Pediatric Healthcare Device and Drug Development”, thematic pod discussions to ignite inter-institutional collaborations in the areas of pediatric cardiology, oncology and neuroscience, and updates from last year's awardees. Following the event last year, Children's National and Virginia Tech provided nearly $150K in seed funding jointly to teams of CNH-VT researchers, including awards to 4 CS@VT/Sanghani faculty. Ravnursson Faroese Speech and Transcripts (LDC2024S09) contains 109 hours of Faroese prompted speech from 433 speakers (249 female, 184 male), corresponding transcripts and speaker metadata. It is an extract from the Basic Language Resource Kit 1.0 (BLARK 1.0) developed by the Faroe Islands' Ravnur Project. Please sign and return the attached agreement that applies to your organization, either the (FP) For-Profit or (NFP) Not-For-Profit version.
