I will open the panel discussion with a few questions for you all: * What do you see as the major breakthroughs in LLM for social study? * What do you think are the current limitations/challenges? * What are the most promising ways you think we should go as the next step? 4. Xuan's award, CAREER: Automated, Quality, and Trustworthy Scientific Information Extraction from Massive Text Data, will develop automated technologies to enable computers to pull trustworthy information from massively sized collections of text without the heavy burden of human annotation. It was developed at the University of Pennsylvania and consists of running texts and text samples of British English prose from the earliest Middle English documents (1100 CE) up to the period of the First World War (1914 CE).
