The Search Committee's assessment of the very small application pool for the first posting was that we need a larger and more diverse pool. Changes made to the job description in response to this were substantial enough for HR to request to close the old search and start over. We hope that the new ad, which also requests additional documents from the applicants, will result in a deeper and more diverse application pool.
