For those interested in words that start with "D" - "Domain", "Data", "Design", "Development" (and possibly many others) - we are looking for enthusiastic candidates with a special interest programmatic visualization to join our effort to construct a knowledge center for novel biotech platforms and programs.
In poetic terms, we are looking for an "artist-engineer" who can help us think of beautiful and meaningful ways to improve information design and data interpretability within complicated biological systems. More concretely, we are looking for people who can help create scientific softwares for leaders and scientists at Takeda Oncology RND as they discover and develop next-generation cell therapies.
Technologies traverse client-side (Angular, NPM, Typescript) to server-side (FastAPI, Jupyter, Python) to graph and relational databases, with room for any libraries that enable custom visualization work (e.g. d3.js) and data modelling. It turns out visualization is particularly effective in our space given the nature of our data resources - however there are also targets for our team for both ML and AR extensions.
Newly formed Roanoke, VA-based shop Bits Engineering is supporting the Cambridge, MA, offices - for anyone interested, I would love to have a conversation (please reach out a jared.jessup(a)takeda.com<mailto:jared.jessup@takeda.com>). Thank you!
