Hey folks,
Here's the plan for tomorrow.
Giving effective verbal technical presentations is an important skill for
PhDs. You use this skill when you give conference talks, defend your
qualifier, defend your prelim, and defend your PhD.
Tomorrow, we'll *watch several research talks and then discuss what seems
to make an effective presentation*. We'll focus not on the content, but
rather on how it is communicated.
- Logistics: Tuesday, 12/3, 12-1 PM, KW2 2225
- Topic: *Dissecting presentations*
- Food: RSVP here

See you tomorrow!
